USS LEXINGTON Former Crew Member

Service Dates: My time on the Lexington was short. I did my 2 week reserve duty in the mid 80's. I served 23 yrs in the Navy (10 regular Navy, 13 USNR). My carriers were the Saratoga and Iwo Jima. I retired in 1993.

Rank/Duty Assigned: ABFC/E-7, Air Dept., V-4 Div. The V-4 Div. officer on the Lex (CWO4 George Agrecy) was my old div. officer on the Iwo Jima, LPH-2 in the late 70's

I served on Lex in the mid 80’s on my 2 week reserve duty. Lexington was scheduled to go to sea while we were there but the car-quals were cancelled. It really disappointed me. I loved going to sea.
