Rank/Duty Assigned: BM/SN 1st Division, Gunnery Dept. Assigned to Mess Cooking, then Side Cleaning then regular work. After that I was in 1st Div. office until I moved on.

I really enjoyed the ’58 cruise to WestPac and loved my time aboard the Lex. Will always remember the day we steamed into Pearl with the crew spelling out “ALOHA 50” on the flight deck. I will also remember the pilots who never returned from that cruise. There were some great guys in the 1st Div. and I would like to find a few of them if they are still around. 1st div.
