Comment: Served on the Lexington on her last West-Pac cruise and crossed the equator and sailed around the Horn of South America up to the Brooklyn Naval Yards for repair. Had duty in the Cuban Missile crisis and on to Pensacola for a training carrier. Have gotten in touch with several shipmates using the former shipmates. Getting on in years now, but enjoyed going back to see her down in Corpus. She still looks good.
