Comment: It’s been a long time ago and I can’t remember the dates. When I went aboard for the first time she was having torpedo damage repaired in the Bremerton Navy Yard and I served aboard until she left Tokio Bay. I had to stay behind in Japan until July 1946 I would like to have a list of engagements she was in during that time. I was there, but I cant remeber all the places after we left Pearl til off Japan with Halseys task force. I’m 84.
