My dad Sperry Moonin Sr. was in the Navy for 4 years. He got an Honorable discharge. He went in when I was a newborn. My dad was a sugpiaq native from Alaska. He always told us stories of the Lexington. He drowned on 08-02-2003. He always said he was going to die in the ocean. He loved being out there. He talked about being in Pensicola FL. and how fun it was. I hope whoever out there that served with him remembers him as the wonderful caring person he was. He is survived by 4 children, 21 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. For such a little guy he had a big family and a big heart. I wish I had picture to share with you all, maybe the Navy has a extra copy. We are proud of him for serving for our country. We all love and miss him. Quyana, (Thank you) Priscilla Evans
