My grandfather, Paul Gratz, served on the Lexington during World War II. I do not know all the details about his time of service, as he passed away in 1999 and my grandmother suffered from Alzheimer’s in the last few years of her life. My mother is searching for records of his service, and we were hoping to add his name to the list of service en to honor his memory.
