Glenn was born on December 11, 1954 in Houston Texas but spent his childhood in Cypress, Texas. As a teenager he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served on the CVT-16 USS Lexington, nicknamed The Blue Ghost. While serving active duty during Vietnam War from 1972 through 1976, he achieved the rank of Third Class Petty Officer. His naval duty as an Engine man lead to his life’s passion; designing and manufacturing oilfield equipment. Glenn began his career designing dive bell systems, hyperbolic chambers, and decompression chambers. Shortly after his career took off he began designing what he did best; winches, hoists, cranes, and his innovative custom designs. He was a man that asked for nothing and gave everything.
