Marine. Served on board the “Lady Lex” CVA 16 (7th Fleet Flagship) between 1957-1959. During my time on board the “Lady Lex” we patroled the Taiwn Strait supporting the Chinese Nationalist in Taiwan. Something I never read or heard about afer getting off the ship is: How big of a weapon we had aboard and how we were within 1/2 hr. of using it before Pres. Ike called it off.
