Started out on the mess decks, assigned to B Division #4 Fireroom, DCA found out I could type so they put me in the Engineering Log Room, R Division Yeoman was transferred so then I was assigned as R Division Yeoman. My General Quarters/Sea and Anchor Station was in Main Control where I manned the 1JV phone circuit between Main Control and the Bridge.
