Rank/Duty Assigned: Came aboard as an PHGAA and was transfered off as a PH2 Worked in the Photo Lab with various assignments, such as darkroom hypo puncher all the way up to darkroom supervisor. Additionally I was assigned to Flight Deck Photographic Operations with stations between the forward "cats" and in the island structure on the 06 Forward Level and the 07 Rear Landing Station.

I made 1 1/2 WestPac Cruise while I was stationed aboard the Lex. She was designated as a CVA at that time and it was an adventuresome and educational experience for me. The memories will always remain clearly etched in my mind.
