This was by far the best vessel that I ever served on. I was on the decommisioning crew and was in the ceremony. It was sooo cold that morning, we had to line the sides on the flight deck in our dress whites, even though it was still freezing outside. I really miss the friends I made on the Lex, Scott Glover, Ed Hootie, Abe, Odie, Giser, and Chris. If any of you guys see this drop a line, we should all meet up in Corpus and have a get together
