Served aboard Oct. 1968 to Oct. 1971. Was EM2 assigned to Distribution Shop in E Division. Was aboard and in pic of 250,000 th arrested landing. While operation in Corpus area in summer of 70, there was an approaching hurricane and we dropped anchor, left outboard engines running to keep bow pointed into the wind and conducted flight operations at anchor.
