The Lex was my first ship, spent 3 and a half years onboard. Went through a 9 month Availability in the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. Worked as a Fire Watch. Worked on the Flight Deck as an AN, ABH striker. Found the Machine Ship, and my calling. Struck for MR and spent the rest of my time working out of the Machine Shop.
