Harry was my father. He passed away in April of 2009 of a brain hemorrhage at 84. Although he was proud of his service in WW2, he didn't want to talk much about it. I believe he was on the CV 2, I'm not sure. Also not sure of rank or responsibility. He spoke of sheet metal. He was born in Decatur Illinois in 1925. Any info you can share.
