Rank/Duty Assigned: Aviation Radioman Third Class Ex-ARM3c, USNR

Comment: My father past away this past Weds. (1/6/2011) Although he rarely talked with his children about his time of duty in WW11 we knew he was in the U.S. Navy. Time aged correspondence/citations, etc. now in our possession shows that he serviced his country aboard the USS Lex in the Pacific Fleet as a radioman 3rd class and received a citation for meritorious acts while participating in aerial flights against the enemy, receiving the Air Medal, Citation, and Gold Star. His children are very proud to submit his name to be among his crewmates. Thank you for having this site available to all of us.
