Comment: The Lady Lex was my second carrier, but not my last. Worked hard, played hard. We hit some great ports. Pearl Harbor, Hi. Youkosuka, Kobe, and Sasebo Japan.

I’ll always remember “Operation Pinwheel” as we positioned to the pier in Kobe, Japan. Enlisted April ’59, Retired May 79. Really enjoyed my time on “Lady Lex”. Visited Museum in summer ’97, when VF-1441 had a reunion in Corpus Christi, TX
