The photo you see here is of my father, Herman “Shorty” Hagerman. He passed away this morning (12-26-2008) at his home in Little Rock Arkansas. He was almost 82. He joined the Lexington just before he turned 17 and he shared many of his fondest memories of the Lexington and his shipmates with his family and friends. I hope you will all remember him with love.
